Kansas City 2024. The Chiefs were in the hunt for a 3-peat. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were new to the dating scene. Mahomes was doing what Mahomes does. And Lee’s Summit Heating & Cooling was sweeping the competition with a strategically placed and concepted campaign.
A highly reputable player in the HVAC space, Lee’s needed to gain more market share in the KC area and increase HVAC installs. PPC alone wasn’t cutting it. Our media buyers negotiated a prominent digital board on the I-435 exit ramp to Arrowhead Stadium for the months of October and November, then our creative team got to work writing and designing.
The concept? Cool the Kingdom. We weaved Chiefs Kingdom, tailgating and everything football, Swift and homeownership into headlines and design, urging viewers to visit a unique landing page. Rotating four boards and four messages worked like a charm because, if you’ve ever been to an NFL game, you know how stop and stop-some-more traffic works. We also mirrored the campaign on paid social and added a giveaway component, a shiny red Yeti Roadie cooler for anyone who spent $2,500+ on a new HVAC install.
