An article written by eMarketer stated that podcasting audiences have increased dramatically since 2019. eMarketer has estimated US podcast listeners to increase from 92 million monthly listeners in 2019 to 105.6 million monthly listeners in 2020. That’s a growth of 14.8% in just one year!

In the same article, eMarketer states that podcast listeners are estimated to listen to podcasts for six or more hours a week. Nearly 1 in 3 daily of those listeners have purchased an item after hearing a sponsored ad on a podcast.
