MediaSpark Celebrates 419% Growth – and lands on 2020 Inc. 5000 list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies
Inc. magazine today revealed that MediaSpark ranked in the top 25% of its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
MediaSpark is one of 25 Nebraska businesses featured on this year’s list.
“We are honored to earn this prestigious ranking, as it demonstrates the proven results we rally around,” says Founder and CEO, Patsy Sumner. “We’re achieving notable growth because of our award-winning talent, industry leadership, and partnership approach. It’s what makes us different and helps us do everything better.”
Founded in 2015, MediaSpark has spent the last five years successfully helping an impressive client roster create, place, and optimize media to turn hometown brands into household names. Their client-based approach bolsters internal marketing department efforts—and is making the company a sought-after partner in data-driven media strategy. Says Sumner, “Marketing and branding can make or break a company. Partnering with a team that GETS your brand is crucial. And that’s the first—and most important—thing we do for our clients.”
Says Ellie Charter, Director of Client Services, “Over the past three years, we’ve made it our number one priority to focus on what is best for the client – trusting and knowing that this focus would allow for organic growth and a strong reputation to win new business. We are so proud to see those efforts result in growth for MediaSpark.”
“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”
Not only have the companies on the 2020 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists. The 2020 Inc. 5000 achieved an astounding three-year average growth of over 500 percent, and a median rate of 165 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $209 billion in 2019, accounting for over 1 million jobs over the past three years.
